Haydee Rodriguez

Haydee Rodriguez, 77, passed this last Friday November 12, 2021. She died peacefully surrounded by family and loved onesin her native city of New Haven, CT. Haydee was born on July 13, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Diego Rivera Cruz and Maria Dolores Crus of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. She was the loving wife of late Valentin Rodriguez and mother of the late Aida Luz Rodriguez and Eliu Rodriguez. She is survived by her children Peter (Teresa Gutierrez) Rodriguez of New Haven, Edgar (Barbara) Rodriguez of Wolcott and Melissa (Miguel) Calcano of Florida. She was the cherished grandmother of Erica Boria, Stacey Rodriguez and Keyana Rodriguez all of Waterbury, Chelsey (Blaine Rankiewcz) Rodriguez of Vancouver Washington, Zachary Rodriguez of Farmington and Alec (Nayibe) Rodriguez of Wolcott. She was also the belovedgreat grandmother to two beautiful children Caleb and Kaydenboth of Waterbury. Haydee is also survived by one brother Angel Luis Rivera of West Haven and predeceased by Guillermo Rivera, Victor Rivera, Richard Rivera, Luz Maria Rodriguez, Laura Rivera, Hilda Ortiz and Eva Rivera.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT from 5-8pm. Burial services will remain private on Saturday morning at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
