Helen Moye

Helen L. Moye, 81 years old, of New Haven, departed this life Wednesday, December 31st, 2025. She was born in New Haven, CT on July 7th, 1944, to Charles Jackson Sr. and Alice King Jackson. Prior to retiring, she worked at Simkins factory before joining Tyco, a printing company. After retiring from Tyco, Helen volunteered at Conte West Hills school working with children.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Helen leaves to mourn her children Kelly Bruce Moye Jr., Terry Moye, and Helena Latoya Moye. Helen was the sister of Ronnie Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Saracestine Jackson, Andrew Jackson, Charles (Cheryl) Jackson, all of New Haven. Helen was predeceased by her husband Kelly Moye Sr. and brothers Allan Jackson, Gordon Jackson and a sister Celestine Jackson. Helen is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, along with a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

Helen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A celebration of Helen's life will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a service to directly follow at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
