Henry Brodie

Henry Gary Brodie, “June”, 65, passed away on December 30, 2024, in New Haven, CT. He was born in Cheraw, South Carolina on August 25, 1959, to the late Maggie Brodie and Henry Gary. He is predeceased by his sister Shirley Brodie and brother Anthony Brodie. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Travis Warren of New Haven, CT, two sisters Edwena and Margaret Brodie of New Haven, CT. and a brother Kenny (Jackie) Vaughn of Charlotte, North Carolina, grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In the early years of Henry’s childhood, he relocated to New Haven, CT. where he later obtained his High School diploma from Wilbur Cross High School. For the past 5 years Henry was employed by Capatorto’s Apizza in East Haven, CT. and for many decades, he was self-employed as an auto detailer of which he had a deep passion for.

To know June was to love him! He was a light-hearted smack talker who would always ask you “what you got in your pocket” or “let me hold 50 thousand!” Oh, how we will miss your warm jokes! You are truly missed, may you rest peacefully.
