Henry Wolf was born on July 24th 1934 to Lillian and Jesse Wolf in new haven ct. Henry grew up with his siblings in the hill section of new haven, he attended troup school and went onto hill house high school until he went on to join the army in 1955 to 1957 when he was honorabley discharged. Henry went on to be married and was employed by new haven public works where he pridefully took care of the city ,he eventually divorced and some time later he met Lynda whom already had 8 children of her own, who he openly accepted and loved as his own. In February 1982 Henry became a father at the age of 47, they eventually went their separate ways but he was never an absent father. Henry retired in June 1999 and one month later became a grandfather 6 days before his birthday. He loved and cherished all five of his grandchildren. In December 2021 he was diagnosed with dementia and epilepsy, it was a very long and stressful battle that started slow, but in September 2024 he started to rapidly go through the last few stages in the last few months there was a rapid decline. We watched him go from being a strong independent man to a very dependent man. Henry lost his fight on may 18th 2026, he was predeceased by his parents Jesse and Lillian and his five siblings Alfred Agnes Lillian Virginia and Jean and nieces and nephews. Henry leaves behind his daughter Candice Wolf (Marcus Dortche ) and his five grandchildren Hakeem Miller Kevin Miller (Danasia) Breyanna Wolf Lyniah Burton and Joshua Burton.
