Horace Lee Phillips

Horace Lee Phillips passed away unexpectedly on Friday September, 15 2018 at his home in West Haven Ct at the age of 59. He was born on October 8 1958 in Battlesborn NC to the Late Lenwood and Selma B. (Pittman) Phillips Sr. Horace was a graduate of James Hillhouse High School. After working various jobs, he retired from St. Raphael’s Hospital after 20 years of service. Horace leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Lenwood Phillips Jr. of Colonial Heights, VA, Joe Louis Lyons of Poughkeepsie, NY. Two sisters Angelene Pittman and Selma (Horace) Brown both of Hamden, CT. One Aunt, Geneva Pittman and one Uncle Nathaniel Pittman both of New Haven CT also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Horace was predeceased by his sister Louise Lyons Cooper, and his brother Willie Lee Phillips. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2018 in Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden from 10-11am. Funeral Services will begin at 11 O’clock at Colonial.
