Inez Underwood

Inez Underwood, 91, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2020 surrounded by family. Born September 26, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey and moved to Lumberton, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Sam Mcdouguald and the late Catherine McNeil. She was employed for many years at Crossroads rehab.  She was a member of Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by late son Jimmy “James” Evens. She leaves to cherish her memories of her daughters Robin Underwood, Wanda Underwood and Gypsy Underwood. And a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Inez’s life and legacy will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 11am at Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Webster st, New Haven, Ct, 06511.Viewing and visitation will be held at the church 10:00a-11Am.
