Irene A. Famiglietti

Irene A. Famiglietti born on 4/2/1941 passed away peacefully on 12/31/20. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Harold G. Famiglietti. Her brother Robert Kubicza and sister Maureen Carlson. She leaves behind to mourn her loss, sons Timothy A. Famiglietti/Johnny A. Famiglietti. Nieces, Kristy Lynn, Kimberly Anne Kubicza, Tracey Ruotolo, Jackie Tabaszewski. Granddaughters, Porsche A. Famiglietti, Lexus A. Famiglietti, Sabrina Famiglietti, Jocelyn Gonzalez. A grandson, Sergio Famiglietti. As well as, Sasha/Robert/Kimberly Madera. Two great grandsons, Achilles and Enzo. A beloved great grandpuppy, Sophia Marie Famiglietti. Irene worked for many years in the kitchen at Taft Point School. She was a avid crochet blanket maker. Loved puzzles, also a crossword puzzle champ. She loves spending time with family and friends. She really loved being out with her grandchildren and was always up for a game of dominos. Or a high tier game of monopoly. She will be greatly missed, by family and friends. She was the glue that held the family together. We know she will truly miss her parrot Chipper, her random phone calls and visits by her ex daughter n law, Blanca Famiglietti. The family would like to thank Krysty Bartuski, for always being there to lend Irene a helping hand. As well as Patti Lincoln.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 9, 2021 at Colonial, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury from 11am-2pm. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
