Jacqueline P. Mcken

Jacqueline P.  Mcken, age 80, of West Haven, CT., Passed away on May 2, 2022. She was born on July 26, 1941, in Norwalk, CT., to the late Paul and Marietta Saunders. The beloved wife of Leroy McKen of West Haven, for over 51 years. She was a loving mother of five children; Cheryl green of New Haven Connecticut,  Pamela Green Houston and Steve Houston of Stratford Connecticut, Gail Green of New Haven Connecticut,  and Eden McKen of Connecticut. Predeceased by her son Herbert Green Junior.  Jacqueline was also the loving grandmother of: Katrina, Ebony, Deleon, Jowell, Joshua, Jasper, Jayvhaun, Janeen, jasmine, Jerrell, Ebony, Ashanti, and a host of great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She attended schools in Norwalk Connecticut. She earned her associates degree through Gateway community college in New Haven Connecticut. Jacqueline owned a janitorial and paper supply company for over 45 years. Mrs. Mcken was also the owner of a home based daycare business for several years. She did work in the community with elderly population serving as an assistant. She then later retired after several years with that company.

A Celebration of Jacqueline’s life will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Avenue at 12pm (noon). Viewing in Colonial from 11am-12pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
