Jacqueline Stewart affectionately known as” Jackie” departed her earthly home and took eternal rest on Friday November 20 th , 2020. Jackie was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on January 31, 1954 to her parents Frank Sr. & Annie Belle Stewart. Jackie was a long-time resident of New Haven and worked for over 30 years at Interim Healthcare. Jackie had one of the purest hearts you could imagine, often adopting her children’s closets friends as her own. Her love for her family and extended family was unmatched and will forever be remembered. If you had the pleasure to visit 200 Ivy Street you were blessed with love, nurturing, acceptance and loads of FUN. If she had your phone number you received a good morning text , she would tell you what the weather would be like and how to dress accordingly, she would end the message with “ I Love You & be safe. Jackie was always uplifting and helping others. Her dedication to her children, grand-children, great grandchildren and extended family was unwavering. She is survived by her children, Andre Allen, Deidre Stewart-Mckenzie and Nakia Stewart. Grandchildren, Keivonna Stewart-White, Hernija Bellamy, Rondrea Allen, Geron Taylor, Andre Allen jr., Timothy McDonald jr. Timesha McDonald and Bella Mcdonald. Great-Grandchildren, Jayla Strickland, Marvion Ogman, Niyalee Delon, Dreyonna Allen, Michael Caldreon, Jaslyn McDonald and Mya McDonald. Sister Anita Stewart. Jackie is also survived by her partner Michael Mccoter. A host of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frank Sr. & Annie Belle Stewart, her son Timothy McDonald Sr. Her grandson Edward Stewart-Booker and brother Frank Stewart jr.
Services Entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514. Services are as followed Friday December 4, 2020 viewing is at 10a-11a Services Starting at 11am, Burial will be held at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Jackie touched the hearts of everyone she encountered, and we will all miss her dearly.
