Jacquelyn Ford

Jacquelyn Ford of Hamden, CT passed away on January 19, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her family. Jacquelyn was born on October 26, 1948 to the late Ethel Mae James. She was raised by her late grandparents, Clifton and Lila Mae Ford as their daughter. Jacquelyn is survived by four brothers: Tyrone James of Virginia, Joseph Jr., Kenneth and Rodney James, all of New Haven. Four sisters: Cynthia James of Waterbury, Carmen (Tim) Quielsey, Kimberly and Deliah James all of New Haven. Three aunts/sisters, Carolyn Ford of New Haven, Betty (John) Coleman of West Haven and Alberta Pittman of Texas. Two uncles/brothers, Herbert and Timothy (Sara) Ford, all of New Haven, goddaughter Susan Monique Ford of New Haven, childhood friend, Peggy Jenkins, of South Carolina, and her special friend Kathy Richardson of California.

A celebration of Jacquleyn’s life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10am at Colonial Funerals 86 Circular Avenue Hamden, CT. Viewing in Colonial from 9am-10am. Burial to follow at Centerville Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
