Jah’seim Ja”Quest Tawiia Cherry was born to Marinda Hannans and the late Jesse Cherry. He leaves to cherish his memories his brother Jesse Cherry Jr., Imani Pouncey, Dasani Nethery, Suri Kennedy, Marnaisjah Butler, and Dershai Williams. God-siblings Faith Howell, Grace Howell, and Jayden Howell, and Danni Wright Moodie. Godfather Davon Howell and Godmother Nicole Rogers. Paternal Grandmother Ruth Cherry and First nephew J’sai Cherry. He also leaves behind a host of aunt’s uncle’s cousin’s family and friends that loved him dearly. As well as his step-father Marcus Butler and special friend Makayla. Jah’seim was predeceased by his dad Jesse Cherry, Grandfathers Jesse Johnson, Paul Beall, and Kenny. Grandmother Sandra Beall. Cousin Tellarece Gardener and Bestfrend Ciera Jones Whitfield.

A Celebration of Jah’seim’s Life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2023, in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, at 11am. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am at Colonial. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com .
