James Hinton

James Alonza Hinton, Jr., passed away on May 9, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. James was born October 23 1971 in Waterbury, CT to James Hinton Sr. and Theresa Porwhisky. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Jaimie Hinton, sons Jason and Julian Hinton, sisters Tonya Hinton and Leatrice Scott, and two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. James loved family and the Redskins.

A service will be held on Friday, May 22th, at 11am at the funeral home. Viewing from 10-11am. Burial to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
