James Johnathan Moore

James Johnathan Moore, age 53, born on October 2, 1965 in Waterbury, CT. Went into eternal rest on January 21, 2019 at Vitas in St. Mary’s Hospital. He was a graduate of Beckett Academy in Modus, CT., and resided there as well. He worked as a landscaper and did carpentry work. He attended Refuge Church of Christ. He was predeceased by his parents Ruth V. (Prince) Moore and Thomas F. Moore Sr., a brother Thomas F. Moore Jr., 2 sisters Ella White (Moore), and Mellissa Lynn Moore. He leaves to cherish his memories Larry E. Moore of MA., Pamela (Donald) Zimmerman of Waterbury, Sandra L. Moore of Torrington, Debra A. Moore of Waterbury, Susan A. Mayfield, Virginia Dennis Moore of Waterbury, Vida (Richard) Stallings of Waterbury, Jeffrey Moore of Waterbury. Four children Shakita, Shardee, Joshua of Waterbury, and James Jr. of Bristol. 3 grandchildren of Waterbury and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He loved his family, he loved being around and spending time with them, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, watching sports and most of all telling jokes. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

A Celebration of James’ life will be held on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Refuge Church of Christ, 13-15 Hawkins St, Waterbury at 11am. Visitation in Church from 10-11am. Interment will follow in the family plot at Pine Grove Cemetery. Colonial of Waterbury are entrusted with the services. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
