James Shelton

James Shelton IV, “Doobie”, of Naugatuck, CT., entered into eternal life on Tuesday May 12, 2020. Born on January 5, 1991, the beloved son of Nicole (Evenson) Novembre of Naugatuck and James Shelton III. Cherished brother of Rockeim Dukes of Naugatuck, Sameria Dukes of Naugatuck, Zamyra Mendez of FL., Taylor Allen of Bridgeport, Brianna White of Bridgeport, Socrates Shelton of Bridgeport, Isaiah Shelton of Bridgeport, Jayden Shelton of Stamford, Jeremiah Shelton of NC. Also survived by maternal grandparents Rebecca Jones of North Haven and Norman (June) Jones Jr. of West Haven, and step father Samuel Dukes, Foster mother Mrs. Brea Parker of Waterbury, four foster brothers,and special friend Jackie Reed of Waterbury, also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, close cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. Predeceased by two brothers Andre Jones and Brenden Cohens, Paternal grandparents Jimmy Shelton Jr. and Linda Shelton, Godparents Kelly Stuckey and Linda Cohens, and his beloved great grandmother Geraldine Shelton. James is gone but, he will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of James’ Life will be held on Tuesday May 26, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, at 11am. Viewing in the Funeral home from 9-11am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
