James "Peewee" Young

James “PeeWee” Young, 79 passed away on May 9, 2020. He was born on May 12, 1940 to the late Bessie Todd-Young and Clarence Young. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son Randy Barber-Young, five sisters Jeanette Young-Willoughby (his twin), Lula Mae Young, and Margaret Young of New Haven, Ct., Sarah Logan, Linda Harris and Debra Yeargin of Greenville, SC., two sister in-laws Faye Harris and Faye Harris-Young. Special nephew Roosevelt Young and longtime special friend Priscilla Johnson, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters Louise Young and Lois Irby, three brothers Edward Young, Harold Young and Lee Harris.

A Celebration of James’ life will be held on Friday May 15, 2020 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing at Colonial from 10-11am. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
