Jason K. Morton

Jason Kenneth Morton, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, May 3, 2020. He was born March 4, 1981 in New Haven, Connecticut and is the son of Craig and Janice (Jinwright) Morton. He attended schools in New Haven, CT and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Jason loved connecting with family and friends and really enjoyed driving tractor trailers. His favorite foods were chicken wings, riceARoni and corn.

Jason is survived by his parents Janice Morton of New Haven, CT and Craig (Maureen) Morton of Hamden, CT, children Jaylania and Jayson Morton of Wilmington, NC, his brothers Antonio (Tony) Whitfield of Wilmington, NC, Craig Morton of Wilmington, NC, Joseph (Charity) Morton of Hamden, Ct, Vincent Morton of Hamden, sisters, Talia (Carlos) Cordoba of New Haven, CT, Samantha Morton and Kathleen Morton both of Hamden, Ct. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, a special niece AliceMarie Morton and a special cousin Louis Eugene Morrison and many friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Alice and Van Jinwright and his paternal grandparents Joseph and Alice Morton. He was also predeceased by a brother Kevin and sister Kaia Morton.
