Jerry Dancy

Jerry Dancy “Wess” went home September 6, 2023. Jerry was born to Florence Zimmerman and James Dancy on December 12, 1957 in Waterbury CT. Jerry would leave behind daughter JeLisa Coleman of Waterbury and Juanita Smith of Ansonia, CT, Ezra Coleman of Waterbury and Sierra Little of Waterbury, CT, grandchildren Shavar Reed jr, Zani Smith, Denim Reed, and Lyla Coleman. Jerry was loved by his siblings James Dancy, Edie Dancy, Shelia Beasley, Gail Blathers, Carolyn Dancy, Robert Hing and late brother David Zimmerman. Jerry was known for his love of music. Jerry had his daughter listening to the “Whispers” at the age of eight and Jerry loved his family he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends, and God children whom he loved as his own. I know you are no longer in pain until we meet again Dad.
