Joanne Lewis

Joanne Lewis passed away on December 20, 2022. She was born on November 19, 1950 in Waterbury to the late Albert Lewis and Daisy Williams-Lewis. Cherished mother of Daisy Allen of Waterbury and Felechia (Philip) Lewis-Gegenheimer of Thomaston. She was sister of Carolyn (David) Dunbar of Ellenton, South Carolina, brother Thomas Lewis of Waterbury. She leaves four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Predeceased by sister Willemenia Jackson and Julia Nixon, brothers John West and Albert Lewis. She loved her family, Church, listening to Church music. She was an usher at Grace Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, cooking, loved senior hub, friends and church family.

A celebration of Joanne’s life will be held on December 30, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church at 11am. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. James R.
