John P. Duarte

John P. Duarte, husband, friend and longtime resident of New Haven, Ct gained his heavenly wings on December 1, 2022 at YALE New Haven Hospital.

John took pride in his passionate view of family, work with Home Depot, activities and travel with Prince Hall Masonic family and his yard.

John is survived by his loving wife, Frankie Duarte, of New Haven Ct. his children, daughter Veronica Foreman (husband-Christopher) grandsons Christopher Jr & Andrew, daughter Michelle Hudson-Streater granddaughter Mia, and son Michael Hudson grandsons Anthony & Michael Jr. Also his wonderful sisters Madalana Jenkins, Cecelia James, Cynthia Brown, Avalina Duarte and protective brother Paul Duarte (wife-Sylvia), Francisco Duarte.  John also has three sister-in-laws Dixie Eaton (husband-John), Cathy Mebane (husband-James) and Jamesetta Mullins (husband-John) and two very supportive Mother-in-Laws Dr. Susan Lincoln of New Haven, CT. and Vivian Williams of Woodbridge Ct. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Peter Francisco Duarte and Rose Santos Duarte members of the Cape Verdean Portuguese community of Waterbury CT.  Without a doubt John will be missed by many forgotten by none. ~SIP John/Doc/CapeMan

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut at 11am., Viewing will be from 10-11am in Colonial.
