John L. Knight

John L. Knight, age 69, of Waterbury, entered into eternal life on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Midstate Hospital. Born on June 3, 1949, in Gatesville, NC, son of the late Lonnie and Julia (Boyd) Knight. Beloved Husband of the late Janet (Adams) Knight for over 20 years. Loving father of Alison (Peter) Soler of Waterbury and Tara Acevedo. Cherished brother of Kirby Knight of Gatesville, NC., Lisa Knight of Gatesville, NC., and Bernice Morris of GA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He worked as a custodian for the Waterbury Police Department where he retired from 1989.
