John William McCrea Jr., age 64, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Friday June 29, 2018 at his home. Born on June 24, 1953 to John McCrea Sr. of New Haven and the late Margaret (Wilson) McCrea. Cherished father of Angela Pearce of Stratford, Michael (Deshelis) McCrea of Meriden, and Michelle McCrea of New Haven, Chauncey McCrea of New Haven. Survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 sisters, and 1 brother. Predeceased by 1 sister and 1 brother. A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2018 in Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden at 11 a.m. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11a.m. Interment will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
