Jonatan José Sanchez AKA “Shorty” Born September 26, 1988 in Freeport, NY to Ayda Garcia and Jose Sanchez. Jonatan Attended Wilby High school in Waterbury, CT

This young Dominican man truly lived life to the fullest throughout even the simplest of pleasures, chatting with friends and family and always the kids. He loved the kids! He loved to keep them happy and laughing. Spending time with his family and friends was always a pleasure for him. He left us his beautiful daughter, Jezel Sanchez to remind us of him everyday. Looking so much like him! And she loves to dance just like he did! Those who knew him know he loved reggeaton! He was definitely a comedian, always telling jokes or trying in someway to make you smile. He also loved to draw throughout the years he made so many different paintings, handkerchiefs, and drawings that truly perfected his craft, as they are all so beautiful! He was also a very helpful person always willing to lend a hand no matter how hands on or dirty things may need to get, he had a wonderful knack for problem solving. All though Jonatan was not perfect he had a good heart. We pray he is now in a better place without any pain, stress or heartache. His family and friends will love and remember him until the end of time…
