Jose Miguel Reyes "Maiky"

Jose Miguel Reyes “Maiky”, 48, entered into eternal life with his loving family by his side on Sunday March 4, 2018.  Born in San Juan, PR March 3, 1970, he lived in New Haven since mid-1980’s, and had moved to Windsor CT 2 years ago. He has reunited with his beloved mother Maria Castillo and step-father Jose “Cano” Santiago.  He is survived by his father Ernesto Reyes, his wife Carmen Santana and children Miguel, Misael and Vivian Reyes all of New Haven, Kiara Reyes of Ohio, and Miley Reyes and step-daughter Keiry Ventura of Windsor.  Four grandchildren Gabriel and Celenia Reyes of CA and Misael Jr. and Amaliano Reyes of East Haven.  Also survived by siblings Luis “Quique” Reyes of NH, Jose “Cheo” (Esther) Reyes and Ernesto “Tito” Reyes both of Ohio, Mayra (Carlos) Rebollo-Lugo of New Haven, and Luisito & Carmensita of Lousinana.  He also leaves step-sisters, step- brothers, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many good friends.  “He will forever live in our hearts”.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 9, 2018 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave Hamden at 11 O’clock. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday Night from 5-9pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
