On God’s Beautiful Sunday Mor ning of September 1 8 th, 2022 , the gates of heaven opened, and Joseph M . Ford II was called forward to heaven while surrounded by h is loving family.

Joseph was born in S omers Point, NJ on July 4th , 19 62 . S on of the late Joseph M . Ford Sr. and the late Kathryn L. Ford . Joseph was very well known as a family Man , an Excellent pool Player and his love for music . He brought h appiness and light into every room he entered. He was Loyal, Loving, Caring, thoughtful, Compassionate, giving and so much more. He was a devoted son, brother , husband, father, g randfather, nephew, cousin, uncle, godfather, and friend . He grew up in N ew York City and relocated to New Haven. He graduated from Richard C. Lee High School and attended Yale University. H is love for music began back in 197 8 and led him into becoming one of the Hottest and Best DJ’s in New H aven and New York City Known As “ C UT MASTER DJ JOEY DEE ” which became known in the early 80’s . He also, worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for over 34yrs in multiple departments. To know him was to love him and he was the type of man who was there for everyone no matter the circumstances.

Joseph is survived by h is Wife, high School Sweetheart , Best Friend, Soul mate and Love of his life of 40 years, Grisel Ford ; Their beautiful children : Daughter Kathryn Ford , Son’s Joseph Ford III, Daniel Ford and his daughter Lakisha R eid . Joseph was a very proud grand father to 6 grandchildren: Shawn’G Graham, Sincere Graham, Jarieliz Ford, Ayden Ford, Rohan Lewin III and Zavian Ford. His 2 God daughters: Ebony Morgan-Hart and Damarie Vazquez. His 5 Brothers: Steven Harvey, Bryan Harvey, David F ord , Greg Harris and Jerome Salters . Along with his aunt , Uncle, Sisters/Brothers/Daughter In-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend s . But we can not forget his 4 – legged son Cody Alejandro Ford .

Joseph will be trul y and dearly missed by those who were blessed to have know n h im .
