Joseph Sarno

Joseph R. Sarno “Fuke”, age 43, of Hamden, passed away after a long illness Saturday, October 10, 2023, surrounded by family and his friends. Joseph was born on April 7, 1980, in New Haven, Connecticut, son of Brian Luysterborghs and the late Jean Ann Sarno. Loving father of Christen Sarno, and Godfather of Martin Hall-Rojas. Survived by four sisters Renee, Jamie, Kelly, and Nicole; and one brother Dillon. Also survived by grandma, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by one sister Nicole “Nikki”. Joseph was a caregiver. He enjoyed video games, movies, listening to music, crazy funny, but most of all he was a good friend, and loving brother, father, and uncle. Joseph will be greatly missed and loved.

Wake will be held on Wednesday Evening, October 18, 2023 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, from 6-9pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, October 19, 2023 at Colonial Funerals from 10-11am. Funeral Service will start in Colonial at 11am. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
