Judy Lopez

Judy Lopez, age 54, of Waterbury, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday June 24, 2020, in the presence of her family who loves her.  She was born in Newark New Jersey on July 30, 1965, the daughter of the late Cruz Velez and Otilio Crespo.  She arrived in CT somewhere around 1979, and resided with her sister who took meticulous care of her, her entire life.  She enjoyed puzzles, coloring, drawing and many other artistic hands-on activities.  Judy had a child-like innocent soul, leaving a huge absence in her family’s lives. Judy was a cancer survivor and her sister Nilda Perez will forever celebrate her accomplishments and her peaceful departure from this earth.  Judy leaves a sister Nilda Perez and her husband Jorge Perez, of Waterbury, CT.  She also leaves a niece Alicia and her husband Tito, with 4 sons and 1 daughter, from Waterbury, CT.  Niece Jaennie and her husband Kervin, with 2 daughters and a son, from East Hartford, CT.  Juan and wife Martine, with 1 son and 1 daughter of Allington, CT. As well as her niece Jasmine from Florida. The family appreciates all of the support and prayers from all friends and family far and near, blessings to all.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Colonial 270 West Main Street, Waterbury at 11am. Interment will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening at Colonial, from 6-9pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
