Kaiden Tremont Phillips

Kaiden Tremont Phillips, of New Haven, CT., departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 27 th , 2025 Kaiden was born in New Haven, CT. on June 18 th , 2010 to Noele B. Evans and the late Tyrese T. Phillips Jr. Kaiden was a current sophomore at Hill Regional Career High School.

Kaiden had a deep love for basketball, playing AAU with the New Haven Heat and eagerly anticipating his upcoming varsity season with the Career Panthers. Known for his sharp sense of style and playful spirit, he loved telling jokes, getting fly, and spending other people’s money. Recently employed through Youth@Work and placed at Upon This Rock Church, Kaiden proved himself to be a hardworking and dedicated young man. He also enjoyed the simple joys of life—playing his PlayStation 5, especially NBA 2K, spending time with his family and close friends, and traveling on vacations with loved ones. Kaiden enjoyed playing the drums and would play at times at the Holy Ghost Deliverance Church #2, where he was also a member. Kaiden had a love for God and even preached his “unofficial” sermon at just two years old. Kaiden’s favorite treats were Trolli gummy worms, seafood, and—above all—bacon, which he loved with a passion. He also enjoyed riding his scooter and simply being surrounded by the people who meant the most to him.

Kaiden leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Noele B. Evans; his brother, Titan Franklin; his sister, Kiary Bella Phillips; and his special sister, Toran Gamble. He is also remembered with love by his maternal grandparents, Corneil “Ci-Ci” Hill-Williams and Paul Evans; paternal grandparents, Crystal “Gi-Gi” Ketchum (Alexander); paternal great- grandmothers, Deborah “Ma-Ma” Jones and Sheila Tyson (Freddy); and his honorary grandfathers, William Antrum and Paul Hill. He will be forever cherished in the hearts of his loving aunts, Deja Antrum, Tajah Antrum, Denise Jones, and Tracey McCutchen-Hill; his special aunt, Taniqua Pellew; and his devoted uncles, Kevin Hill Sr. and Terrance Brown. Kaiden was also blessed with godparents Shanelle Morrison, Andrea Jenkins, Anthony Spencer, Nichole Carter, and Angela Keeton, whose guidance and support enriched his life. Along with many other aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends, their love and guidance were a constant source of strength throughout his life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his two best friends, Mighty Joyner and Carmello Moore, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Kaiden was predeceased by his father, Tyrese T. Phillips Jr.; his maternal great-grandparents, Estella Hill and Zommie L. Waddley; his aunt, Ja’na Antrum; and his paternal grandfather, Tyrese T. Phillips Sr.
