Keenan Smith

Keenan Errol Smith of Charlotte, NC passed away suddenly Dec. 29, 2020 while visiting his hometown of Waterbury.  He was born Feb. 14, 1960 son of the late Charles (Buddy) and Mildred Smith. He was the loving husband of Rosalind Lee Smith. He leaves behind his sisters Dr. Jacquelyn Jordan of Clinton, MD, Geraldine (Pinkie) Works of Cheshire, Ct, Madlyn (Ginger) (Willie )Smith-Driver of Raleigh, NC, Lilibea (Libby) Smith-Knight of New London, Ct and brother Elston Charles Smith of New London, Ct.  He also leaves behind his nieces Ayanna (Speedy) Jordan, Sancha Works, Charmaine Patterson, Chanel and Chantel Smith, and nephew Derek Jordan, Brother-in-law Rev. John Lee (Cynthia), sister-in-law Marcella Robinson and a host cousins and friends. Keenan would say – Don’t remember me with sadness, don’t remember me with tears.  Remember all the laughter we shared throughout the years.  Now I am contented that my life was worthwhile knowing that I passed along the way, I made someone smile.  Keenan enjoyed and loved cooking, fishing, watching football, basketball and sporting events.
