Kerry Leon Mobley 68 of 548 Wilson St., Waterbury, CT passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Waterbury hospital

Kerry was born March 24, 1957 in Waterbury, Connecticut a son to the late George and Alberta (Andrews)Mobley

Kerry was educated in Waterbury public schools graduating from Kennedy high school and attended Eastern Connecticut State University. He was employed by Somers thin strip for 17 years and later worked for Macy’s warehouse until his retirement. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Kerry, affectionately known as “scooter” was a very extroverted person who was friendly funny loved music and loved to dance most of all he loved his family

He was a loving, father, son, brother, cousin and friend. He leaves to honor his memory, two sons, Eric Allen Gatlin , and Jayden Rasheed Mobley both of Waterbury, a sister, Brenda M Crosby, a brother George Mobley JR both of Waterbury, a loving partner, Danielle Lorde and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends and his fur baby Princess.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald Andrews, and his grandparents, Primus and Ellen Copeland.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Colonial Funerals 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT at 11am.
