Kevin Lamonte Waters

Kevin Lamonte Waters 54, of Hartford. CT went to his rest on Friday August 2nd, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital. Kevin was born in Hartford, CT to the late Willie & Sylvia Waters on September 3rd, 1964. He attended Bloomfield High School and was an avid Warhawk alumnus. Kevin was an infantry soldier in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a survivor in the tragic Beirut Bombing while serving his country in 1983. Kevin leaves behind 3 sons; Jamal Peterson of Georgia, Javon Bowen of New Britain, CT and Jamal Waters of New Britain, CT. Kevin also leaves behind 2 brothers; Darryl (Michelle) Waters of Hamden, CT, Curtis Waters of Hartford, CT and his pre-deceased brother Willie ”Wally” Waters Jr. of US Army. He also leaves behind 3 sisters; Marian Wallen of Manchester. CT, Elitsa Waters of Bloomfield, CT and Janine Waters of E. Hartford, CT along with a great host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Kevin also leaves behind special friend and companion Rhonda Holt-Little. Kevin was a very happy and funny person who brought great joy and laughter to every occasion. Please keep these joyous memories close to your hearts, as he will be surely missed.

Services will be held on Saturday August 10th, 2019 at Liberty Christian Center (23 Vine Street Hartford, CT 06112). Viewing hours will be 10-11 am and Services from 11-12:30 pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
