Kyshone Lonnell Brantley, born to James and Pamela Brantley on March 15,1979 New Haven, CT departed this life suddenly on January 19, 2025. Kyshone graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. At the age of 16 he worked as a Sous Chef at the Holiday Inn and later at Yale University Dining Services. He is survived by his Mother Pamela Branch, Sister Renissa Brantley (Sunshine) brother Harvey Melton, Nephews: David Foreman Jr, Jabree Price, Harvon Melton and his Stepdad Alexander Melton. Chrissy Ratigan (Fiancé) and family. Ky was well loved by his aunts and uncles Hazel Branch-Roche (Gerry), Michael Branch (Venice), Deveria Branch-Peterson (Bernard), Karen Branch (David, Sydney Earl Branch (Tracey), Watt S. Darden, Dwayne Branch (Devona), Edna Rice (Zeek), Mattie (Eddie), Freddie Brantley, Roger Brantley (Yvonne), with a host of cousins too many to name. His friends are like family too. He loved playing video games. started out with that Sega Genesis and I do believe he had every new game going forward. he loved his sister, brother and nephews, even got them into gaming.
His mom taught him to cook at a young age as she worked two jobs. so he became the chef of the house and in his later years actually thought he could cook as good as his mom. He even became a grill master thanks to Pamela Branch. Ribs anyone, his favorite meat of all grill or stove. Ky had an infectious smile and was always happy. He also had this one-sided twist to his face if something was said and he thought different. He cherished every day on this earth with his family and friends and like butter on toast he will be missed until our sun goes down. The best son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and love to ever have our bond is still unbreakable. As he would say to his friends, l’m putting one up in the air right now…fly baby boy….fly
He was predeceased by his father James Brantley, his grandmother Dora O. Branch, Grandmother Mae Francis Brantley, grandfather Lee Brantley, Uncle Ramon Branch, Aunt Linda Branch-DuBose.
