Laura Ellen (LeBlanc) Mead, age 57, of Hamden, entered into eternal life on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at CT Hospice. Born on November 26, 1960, in Milford, CT , daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Springsteen) LeBlanc. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Mead for over 19 years. Cherished mother of Chad Nimons of FL., Justin Hirtler of Milford, and Angelika (Randy Roswell) Hirtler of NC. Beloved stepmother of Tracey Mead of NC., and Ralph Mead of FL. Loving grandmother of Tyler and Sadie Nimons of FL. Survived by step-grandchildren Erick Mead of West Haven, Genai Tillery of NC., Alesandra Chiclana of NC., and Vanessa Chiclana of NC. Also survived by two loving sisters Donna (Chris) Starr, Janice LeBlanc both of AZ. Predeceased by one brother Michael LaBlanc. Laura was a wonderful singer, a very talented poet, mechanic, and carpenter. She loved her cat Marley and playing cards with her friends. What Laura loved the most was her family
