Lensey D. Lewis entered eternal life on October 21st 2024. Lensey was born on New Years Day, January 1, 1963 to the late Jack and Joyce Lewis in Brooklyn New York. He attended New Haven Public Schools and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1982. He began his trade as an electrician working for ADT as a licensed electrician installing alarm systems for several years. He retired in 2001 and in his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and close relatives. In 2010 he met and married Monique Lewis. Lensey was the patriarch of his family and he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren hosting many family gatherings. Lensey was a God fearing man who enjoyed worship and fellowship. Lensey was a great man who helped and supported many.
Lensey Leaves behind his wife Monique Lewis, 7 children, 8 grand kids, 1 great-grand daughter and 4 siblings as well as a host of relatives and associates.
A Celebration of Lensey’s Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing in Colonial from 10am-11am. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
