Lerone Holloway Sr.

Lerone Holloway, Sr. gained his wings on Friday, November 24, 2023.  He was born in New Haven, CT on October 5, 1972.  Lerone attended James Hillhouse High School and attended Southern Connecticut State University.  He was a Group Home Manager for over 20 years.  Lerone was a hard core New England Patriots fan. He loved to debate you on any subject, and he was a Marvel fan.

Lerone gave his heart to the Lord March of 1998.  He wore many hats in the church such as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and served on the Worship team for many years at Faith Temple Revival Center and Church on the Rock.  Lerone had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone in need.

Lerone leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Willie (Myra) Holloway, and Joann Holloway. His children Mea Holmes, Brianna Jackson, Lerone Holloway, Jr., and Dashawn Holloway, his siblings, Anthony (Arhonda),  Ann-gela Holloway, Ali Harris of North Carolina, Terence Stocks, Deena Holloway and Christy Holloway of GA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Samuel Holloway, Sr. and Emma Pierce-Holloway, and his maternal grandmother Lillian Gray Jones, his siblings, Willie Holloway, Jr., Jennifer Holloway, and Cody Harris.  He has a host of nieces and nephews, God children and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at Church on the Rock New Haven on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11 am. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funerals. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
