Lillian Beatrice Rawls

Ms. Lillian Beatrice Rawls, affectionately known as “Sister”, 74, of New Haven, CT transitioned from this life on March 14, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Lillian was born on June 1, 1947 in Bertie County, NC to the late George W. Rawls and Eva C. Hoggard Rawls. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Curtis W. Rawls (Carrie) of Hamden; four sons, Robert Rawls of New Haven, CT, Timothy Rawls (Timprea) of Hamden, CT, Joseph Rawls of New Haven, CT, and Keith Spencer of New Haven, CT; two daughters, Kathleen Edwards of New Haven, CT and Robin Davis of North Clarendon, VT. Seven grandchildren; Lillian Rawls, Tamara Rawls, Aryk Jackson, Malikka Rawls, Robinque Rawls, Mahagany Rawls, and Honesty Rawls and 3 great grandchildren; Cameron, Marquis and Tamiyah as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Rawls is predeceased by her sisters, Joyce Powell, Frances Hunter, Vivian Montgomery, brother Robert Rawls and sister law Margaret Rawls.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
