Linda Marie Moore, the second oldest of 7 siblings, was born on March 7, 1956, in New Haven, Connecticut. She is predeceased by her parents, Jimmy Moore and Sylvia
(Betty) Moore and brother Jeffery Moore. Linda graduated from Wilbur Cross High School.
She was a committed servant of the Lord who believed in the power of prayer. Linda was a long time devoted member of “The Davidian Seventh-day Adventist Association”. She also enjoyed attending Mt. Zion Seventh Day adventist Church with her mother Sylvia (Betty) Moore.
Linda was a retired home health aide assistant. She loved cooking creative dishes, spending time with immediate family and friends and would do anything for them. At family functions she was known for providing the macaroni and cheese and greens. Linda was especially fond of and spent a great deal of time with her great niece Zion and great great nieces and nephews, Kori, Kia, Kalli, Khloe, Cherish, Emanuel and Gabriel.
She leaves behind to mourn, sisters Diane Bartlette, Sheila Gary (Billy), Annette Ford (Gilbert Jr), brothers, Michael (Sharlene) and Vincent Sr (Rhonda) and a host of Neices, Nephews and Friends.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Interment to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
