BROTHER, UNCLE, COUSIN, FRIEND

Mr. Lorenzo Knight, 69, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on May 20, 1952 to the late Charlie Percy and Marjorie S. (Locklear) Knight Jr.

He worked for many years as a roofer in the city of Waterbury until being struck by cancer. Served in the Army National Guard, A Company 2nd Battalion 102nd Infantry. Lorenzo loved to fish and prior to his illness, you would see him at Lakewoood or Bellview park on any given day.

Lorenzo Knight is survive by his wife Gail (Copeland), five sisters: Jaqueline Locklear Tyson, Brenda Wynkoop of Waterbury, Ct, Hope Williams of Torrington, Ct, Teresa “Goldie” Knight of Gates, Nc and Bernice Smith of Franklin, Va. One brother, Sherman L. Knight (Darlene) of Waterbury, Ct. A host of Nieces, Nephews Cousins Fiends that loved him. and one special nephew, Willis Knight sr. who cared for him in his hour of need.
