Louis Eugene Henderson, aged 48, passed away on July 21, 2024, in New Haven, CT. Born on August 1, 1975, Louis was known for his vivacious spirit and humor. Louis had a lifelong dream of obtaining his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), which reflected his love for adventure. Professionally, Louis dedicated many years to the hospitality industry, where his charismatic personality was a perfect fit.
A cherished part of his life was spent on the basketball courts at the local park, playing with his son, Chayse, during his younger years. These moments not only nurtured a deep bond between father and son but also left lasting memories for both.
Louis is survived by his son, Chayse D’Angelo; brother, Richard Ewing; sister, Mellena Ewing; niece, Chanelle Goldson (Bertram); great nieces, Brielle and Brooke Goldson, ex-wife, Rebecca D’Angelo, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins . He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Henderson and Aileen Ewing.
