Lucille Dozier

Lucille Dozier, 63, of New Haven, Ct departed this life and entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2025. Lucille was born on April 29, 1961 to the late Lillie Bell and William Knox, Sr. in Bronx, Ny. Lucille was a loving, kind, and nurturing mother and grandmother. Lucille is survived son Leonard Knox of New Haven, Ct; daughters Tiffany Dozier of Durham, NC and Whitney Dozier of Hamden, Ct; siblings Gertie Bell (Clayton, NC), Cynthia Harris Jackson (Hamden, CT), Kenneth Knox (Fort Pierce, FL), Loretta Miller, Sharon Miller and Shedrick Miller, (Bronx, NY) and 6 grandchildren and host of relatives and friends. Lucille was predeceased by her parents Lillie Bell and William Knox, Sr; siblings William Knox, Jr., Jerome Harris, Barbara Harris , and Priscilla Knox Moore.

A Celebration of Lucille’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Ave., Hamden, Ct at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
