Luis Diaz

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Luis Diaz at Yale New Haven Hospital, he passed away peacefully on the early hours of October 20, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Luis and Juana Diaz

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Milagros; five sons, grandchildren, as well as numerous family members and friends.

Luis was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world.

Luis was known for his love of baseball, an avid Yankees fan. Always wearing his Yankees hat with pride.

Luis had a gift of making everyone feel great. Luis was kind, loving, strong, caring, warm, awesome, and supportive father. The relationship he had with his wife was like no other, they shared an unbreakable bond. He was also a passionate babysitter for his grandchildren. He will be forever missed, Forever Loved, & Forever in our Hearts!

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at 4pm at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut 06514. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
