Mara Gomes

Mara Gomes was called to be with the Lord on 9/21/23. She was Born in Portugal and came to the US in 1989 she lived in West Haven for many years and also a long time resident of New Haven CT. She leaves behind her five children: Joshua, Jocelyn, Nailah, Viviana and Angel whom she loved so much. Mara was a beautiful soul she loved to dance and Rap, loved to entertain and perform. She will be missed by all who knew her. She also leaves behind her parents Luís and Joana Gomes, her sisters Katia and Vanda her brother Omar Gomes her nieces Jazelle, Leileen, Zelda and nephews Rafael, Amari, Jordan, Mason and Omar Jr. A host of Aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Today we celebrate her life and ask that you keep her memory alive and keep her children in your prayers. Gone too soon but will never be forgotten she will live in our hearts forever and we we find comfort knowing she’s at Peace. We love you Mara Gomes RIP until we meet again. AMEN 🙏🏽
