Marcus cherished his family and grew up in a household with 5 brothers, and 4 sisters where the family enjoyed years of antics, love and camaraderie. Marcus was charismatic, adventurous, and known to be extremely protective of his family, often being on call when his support was needed to oversee any sensitive matters. Marcus spent most of his life in New Haven County area, however later moved to Rhode Island where he lived and worked. He formed a special bond with our cousin Kenny Gause, which lasted through Kenny’s passing on Nov 18 th , 2020.

Marcus was a gun and car enthusiast and spent the last few years working in the transportation industry. Marcus was also a music lover and enjoyed singing along to a favorite song while driving. Marcus loved spending time with his family and was often found at family social events. Marcus also had a knack for finding the most obscure diners that served delicious breakfast.

Marcus spent a part of his formative years playing musical instruments like the trumpet and recently, began to learn to play the acoustic guitar. Marcus was well known and made many friends wherever he walked in life. Those that had the honor to know him may describe him as strong willed, determined, and willing to take chances to try something new.
