Margarita Quiles-Martinez

Quiles-Martinez, Margarita, age 74, of New haven passed away Tuesday, August 25,2020. She was born on October 13th, 1945 to Portalatin Quiles and Mercedes Quiles Peres in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She enjoyed spending holidays with her family and loved going to the casino and Cody’s diner. Margarita left behind 4 Sisters- Esmeralda, Teresa, Esterella, Edith and 6 Brothers- Augustin, Domingo, Hector, Jeorge, Luis, and Fernando, 9 Children- Sandra E. Martinez, Maria Del Carmen/Martinez, Maribel Torres, Evelyn Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Miguel A. Martinez, Luis/Migdalia Martinez, Jose/ Angela Martinez, and Reynaldo/Kelly Martinez, 32 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren. Margarita was predeceased by Dionicia, Sister. She will be deeply missed by many friends and family. A funeral service is scheduled from 9am-10am on 8/28/2020 at Colonial Funeral Home on Circular Ave in Hamden. Followed by 10:30am Church services at Saint Francis of Assisi Church on Ferry St. in New haven and A 12:00pm Resting Place at Evergreen Cemetery on Ella Grasso Blvd in New Haven.
