Maria A. Espada

Maria A. Espada, age 72, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born June 13, 1946 in Puerto Rico to the late Carmelo and Candida (Garcia) Espada. Loving mother of Nydia Delgado of New Haven, Nancy Perez of Illinois, and Manuel Alvarado Missouri. Cherished grandmother of Jose Cedeño, Jocelyn Cedeño, Yaire Delgado all of New Haven, Francisco Andino, Luis Medina, Isaac Muniz, Monique Muniz, Alex Muniz all of Illinois, Joshua Alvarado, Daniel Alvarado both of Missouri. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren 3 sisters, and 7 brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son Carlos Muniz and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, from 5-9pm. On Wednesday April 24, 2019 Visitation at Colonial from 9-11am, with funeral services starting at 11am.
