Maria (Tata) Reveron Perez age 59 Born in Isabela Puerto Rico, Passed away on August 6, 2021.

An amazing Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother of her three children Nelson Torres Jr. ,Daniel Torres and Kayla Perez. Grandmother of 6.

Maria was a hard worker starting in the candy factory, making her way to the hospital as a  food service worker until retirement in 2013.

Maria loved to be surrounded by her family whom she cherished so much and held close in her heart. She was a woman with so much love to give, putting everyone first, always wanting to take care of others even to the very end. The most selfless, considerate, intelligent, generous, loyal and honest person you could ever meet. Her sarcasm was like no other. Maria had a comeback for almost anything you threw her way and had no issues putting people in their place especially to protect the ones she loved most. Her laugh was so contagious, brightening up anyone’s day. Maria had such an influence on those around her without even realizing it. She made sure to live her life to the fullest leaving behind so many charitable memories and will continue watching over her family from up in heaven. Her love will never end. Maria was so tiny but so enormous at heart.

A celebration of Maria’s life will be held Wednesday August 11, 2021 at Colonial Funerals, Hamden. Viewing will be in Colonial from 5-9pm.  Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
