Mark Q Evans

Mark Evans was born March 23, 1967, in New Haven CT, to the late Ruby Stanford Evans and the late Monroe Evans.

He received his High School diploma in New Haven CT, where he also went to Culinary School. He worked at Quinnipiac University, and UNH College as a Cook.

Mark enjoyed being outside doing many things, he never liked being at home. He enjoyed going to the casino spending the day there just eating and walking around meeting new people. He loved going for long rides just sightseeing and trying many different foods. He really enjoyed watching all types of sports and relaxing on his porch. He would always say how peaceful it made him feel just watching the kids go to school in the morning.

He departed this life on Thursday August 7th 2025 in Branford CT. He leaves to cherish the memories of fiancé (Meriam Marcellin) and four Daughters Amber Evans Jackson (Monica Jackson) Mikhail Evans, Destiny Alston Evans, Christiana Evans Borrero; 3 Grandchildren and Sister Patricia Evans, Evelyn Martin, Brother Winfred Evans, Richard Youins, and Nephews Martin Evans (Tiara Evans) Marcus Parker (Shatterrea Taylor) Winfred Evans Jr. (Mesha Jeter-Evans) and a host of Great Nieces and Nephews.

Services for Mark Q. Evans will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden CT 06514. Viewing will held at 10AM with a service to follow at 11AM. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfuenrals.com.
