Marta Reyes

Marta Reyes passed away on May 24, 2022. She was the daughter of Vicente Reyes and Luz Maria Sanchez, she was born on September 23, 1952 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was the loving mother of Solmaria Nunez of Waterbury and Edgardo Sanchez of Hartford. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters Josefina Reyes, Marisol Reyes and Sandra Fontanez, brothers Jose Luis Reyes, Martin Reyes, Rafael Reyes and Tony Reyes, and five grandkids and three great-granddaughters. She loved cooking, hearing music, long walks and loved her grandkids and her kids. She is predeceased by one granddaughter.

A celebration of Marta’s life will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main Street, Waterbury. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
