Mary Lee Hanna Cooper

Mary Lee (Cooper) Hanna, age 74, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 23, 2017 in her home. Born on May 14, 1943 in Lake City, SC, the daughter of the late Moses Franklin Cooper, Jr and Gether (Singletary) Cooper. Loving wife of James William Hanna of New Haven. Cherished mother of Luther (Timothea) Cooper of Hamden, Michael Cooper of New Haven, Sherman (Tamara) Hanna of Waterbury, and Lisa Hanna of New Haven. Survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Predeceased by 1 sister and 3 brothers.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday July 1, 2017 in Springs Of Life-Giving Water Church, 375 Howard Ave., New Haven at 9 a.m. Viewing in Church from 8-9 a.m. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
