Mary E. Hoover Mclaurin

Mary E Hoover McLaurin. 69 of 285 Quinnipiac Ave New Haven, Departed this life on Wednesday May 27, 2020. Mary was born on December 6, 1950 in Jacksonville Florida, to the late Samuel and Bertha lee Hoover. Mary was a very outspoken person and loved her family and friends. She was a very loving person and never complained to anyone about life. Mary was employed by Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut; she was a member of Faith Power Deliverance Church in New Haven Conn. Mary McLaurin was the wife of John D. McLaurin, and was a loving mother to her four children, three son’s John, Anthony and Derrick Hoover. One daughter Shalynn McLaurin all of New Haven, Ct. Also survived by One sister Rhonda Greene of Waterbury Ct. Two brother’s Elijah and Samuel Hoover of New Haven, Ct. Mary was predeceased by Louise James, Charlie Hoover, James Hoover and Cleveland Hoover. Mary also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, great-grandchildren a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great- nephews, cousins as well as multitude of friends.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday June 8, 2020 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden, at 12pm. Viewing in Colonial from 11am-12pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com
