Mary Deloris Parker born on July 4th, 1945 in Florence, South Carolina. She was the loving daughter of father David D. Parker and mother Essie Mae Parker (preceded in death). After graduating from highschool she began working for Yale in housekeeping for some time in her life. Mary Parker was a devoted mother of one her beautiful daughter Angela Parker (preceded in death). She was a sister, aunt, cousin, and a wonderful grandmother to many. Mary loved her family, she was always surrounded by love and as we all know that she loved to celebrate. She also loved cooking and traveling. Mary was such a good person, she always made sure everyone that was close to her was happy. Along with her kindness that has touched each and every one of us and that we will forever cherish. She leaves behind to celebrate her life and cherish these memories that were created during her time here, brothers David Parker, J.D Parker (preceded in death) , Harry Parker (preceded in death), and sisters Joanne Parker and Barbara Jean Hamilton (preceded in death). Her lovely grandchildren; Shacola Parker, Shaquella Parker, Teyana Kelly, Raheem Kelly, Patrick Kelly Jr, and Tywaine Kelly. Her great-grandchildren Da’Veona Parker, Ke’Veon Mccleonnon, Nova Kelly, Aaden Kelly, Tylon Kelly, Zaire Kelly, and Da’Veya Hobby. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 6 th , 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home, located at 86 Circular Ave Hamden, CT. Viewing from 10am-11am and the Funeral Service is at 11am.  Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
